Millions of visitors every year want a slice of the British metropolis. Vinyl lovers are no exception: with almost 500 indie record stores in the capital alone, there’s clearly no shortage of music here.
But even a major global city like London has its quirks. Collectors often ask me for advice before they visit as it can all feel a bit overwhelming.
As there’s an overabundance of information online, I thought I’d give you some off-the-beaten-track tips so you can avoid the usual tourist traps and navigate the London vinyl scene like a pro.

I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone haggle of the price of a record (not even at a yard sale). I think it'd be really awkward, tbh.
I can't believe sellers would leave vinyl out in the rain! Who would buy them?! Anyway, hope to get back to London for a visit one of these days. If I do maybe we can have TWO pints!
